Silicone tape is a high-performance, multi-purpose composite material new product made by rolling or coating organic silicon rubber on glass fiber cloth, cotton cloth and other base fabrics that are resistant to high temperature, corrosion and high strength.
The main characteristics of silicone tape are:
● Temperature resistance characteristics - continuous use from low temperature to high temperature within the range of -70 ℃ -230 ℃, with good insulation performance
● Climate resistance - resistant to heat aging and weather aging, as well as ozone, oxygen, light, etc., with excellent weather resistance for outdoor use and a lifespan of up to 10 years
● Drug resistance - good chemical corrosion resistance, oil resistance, waterproofing, and washability
● Electrical characteristics - extremely superior insulation, dielectric constant of 3-3.2, breakdown voltage of 20-50KV/MM
Mechanical characteristics - high strength, both soft and tough, can be cut and processed freely; High surface friction and good elasticity
The main uses of silicone tape are:
Electrical insulation: Silicone cloth has a high level of electrical insulation and can withstand high voltage loads. It can be made into insulation cloth, sleeves, and other products
● Non metal compensator: silicone tape can be used as a flexible connection device for pipes, which can solve the damage of heat expansion and cold contraction to pipes. Silicone tape has high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, good elasticity and flexibility, and can be widely used in petroleum, chemical, cement, energy and other fields
In terms of anti-corrosion: Silicone rubber coated fiberglass cloth can be used as an internal and external anti-corrosion layer for pipelines and storage, with excellent anti-corrosion performance and high strength, making it an ideal anti-corrosion material
In terms of temperature resistance: as a flame retardant material for large public places, such as fireproof blankets, fireproof curtains, etc
Other fields: Silicone rubber coated glass fiber membrane structural material, which can be applied to building sealing materials, high-temperature anti-corrosion conveyor belts, packaging materials and other fields
